What is this service?

Brief description
We launched the myBulk.info service in the ideea of improving the way of communicating using text messages over the internet. It is well known that when communicating using IM (instant messengers like Yahoo messenger, Google talk, AOL messenger, MSN messenger) or IRC (Internet Relay Chat) the length of the contents sent is limited. Also, when using large URLs (web addresses), the IM client can fail converting the text into a web-link, making things complicated for the recipient of the message. myBulk.info is proposing to help avoinding this kind of issues and offers a couple of ways to make the things more easy for the internet users. myBulk.info is offering a fast and reliable way for you to dump a text content automatically creating a link that you can simply copy&paste to your friends. Making an URL smaller
•  Using myBulk.info you can make your URLs smaller. If you have a big URL and you want to send it on an IRC channel , or on an IM you simply paste the desired URL into the requested field, you type the security code and after submiting the form, a small URL will be generated ready for you to copy and paste it to your chat partners. You will be able by using the my Bulks menu to track the visitors number of your generated link or to reuse other times this link if you need it.

Making a text to URL (text2url) conversion
•  If you have a quite big text that you want to sent using an IM, you will probably hit the software's character limit, so your content will not be fully sent and you will be forced to send it in parts, fact that can be inconvenient. Not to mention that when trying to paste a text that is having multiple lines on an IRC channel, you can be banned since this kind of action may be considered flood. For this reason myBulk.info is bringing the solution of holding the text data for you and offering to you a short URL for your use. In this way, you will simply send the given URL to your chat partners and they can see your content. All you have to do is to simply dump your data into the form, to type security code and then to submit the form. An URL will be generated and ready for your use.
•  In order to protect your data, but in the same time to offer the opportunity of re-using/tracking non-sensitive data, myBulk.info is offering two methods of storing your bulk data. By checking the "myBulk" box, you will be required to enter a title for the data you are adding, along with the language selection and the category of the data, in the ideea that the data will be stored for future use. The data will be published into the Archive of myBulk.info and as well it will appear in my Bulks tab, for you to track visitors number and for your future use. If your data is private or containing sensitive information it is strongly recommended to NOT save it as a public bulk. However if the data is not sensitive (like jokes, news, funny conversations) we are strongly recommending you to save it. Once the text content is saved as a permanent bulk it will be kept forever in myBulk.info database. If you don't want to save the data for future use, you can leave the myBulk box unchecked and you will generate a temporary bulk. Please note that temporary bulks are stored for a limited amount of time, you cannot track the number of visitors and as well the information is not published in the archive (note that this doesn't means your data is fully protected from other users, since we are not annoying you with an account creation your data will not be password protected, so it will never be 100% safe).
